Two more days and we'll have been gone a full week. It's amazing how quickly you can feel at home even when you're so far away. Lima was beautiful and very busy. As of this morning at around nine ish we got to Trujillo by bus. Turjillo is 9 hours north of Lima, it's over cast here too. The place we're staying right now is called Naylamp and it's in a small town called Huanchaco, just outside of Trujillo. I can hear the water right now. We caught the "A" bus back into town today after we dropped our stuff off and Tim got a nap. In town we looked around and shopped. Some other people, from seattle, that we had talked to in Lima told us that when we go into the jungle we'll need long sleeved tops and pants. The whole family has long pants but no good long sleeved shirts too keep bug away so we got some in a huge tent-like thing. At the place we're staying now there's an older guy who has huge bug bites all over his legs, it's kinda gross. On the "bus" on the way back there was a man who spoke pretty good english that talked to us and he said the weather should get nicer tomorrow. I'm hoping it does because there are ruins between here and Trajillo called Chan Chan that we're going to go see. Nicer weather would make them much more enjoyable. Plus, a tan would be nice too.
As far as picture go on here our internet isn't the greatest, so when i get the time to sit and upload pictures one by one i will. I hope that will be as soon as possible.
School is coming along. It's very time consuming, but we're doing it. The nice thing about it though is that the things that both Tim and I are learning about fit with the things and places we're visiting. I still don't know how we managed that. Seeing things in person makes the learning a lot more fun though. Maybe we can get extra credit for pictures. (i wish)
After that bus ride last night I think bed time is early tonight. Tim's already there. Good night
