33 days and counting
Our family has 33 days before we leave and we still have quite a lot left to do. Over the past month or so we've done so much shopping and getting ready. We got huge back packs, travel sized towels, socks, zip-off pants, boots, things for the cameras, ect all for our eleven month adventure. We take off on september 21st to go to Los Angeles, from there we will be flying to Peru. The return date is August 27th. Everything in between is all up to the parental units. What's been said is that our bag will consist of only two pairs of pants, two pairs of shorts, a few shirts, a pair of shoes,(out of the two different ones we're bringing) the essentials, and little things that a 16 year old girl from Edmonds has never even thought of using in her life. All that really comes to mind to say about all this is "This will definitely be an adventurous road to nowhere."

Thirty three days!!!! Wow, that's coming up pretty quick... which I guess you know. Thanks for creating the blog so we in the U.S. can travel vicariously through you. I love the desciption about what you will pack... especially the part about the things you never thought of needing. Have tons of fun getting ready, and know that we are with you in spirt.
